Prepare Electronics and Communications with GATE School
So, Hello to all the GATE Electronics & Communications Engineering aspirants out there. So, In our strife to make a GATE aspirant’s life easier we decided to write this blog post to sum up all that a GATE ECE aspirant would want to know.

GATE opens up a lot of opportunities for candidates who manage to score well in the competition. A few of them include:

  • Get admission into the top M.Tech. Programs in India.
  • job opportunities at PSUs (Public Sector Units)
  • Get admission into a few top Universities abroad. (Read more about it here)

So, whether or not one picks up any of the opportunities that he or she gets by getting a good GATE score. The entire process of preparation for GATE helps a student build a very good aptitude .Also,  gain a significant amount of knowledge about their subjects. Also, This could even inspire some to become problem solvers of tomorrow and turn entrepreneurial! So, Anyway, let’s leave that topic for another day.
Here, the first thing that a GATE ECE aspirant will want to know would be the syllabus, so here you go.  : GATE ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering)Syllabus 2017
Here,  the link for the General Aptitude Syllabus which is Common for all the streams is given: GATE General Aptitude Syllabus 2017
Now, coming to the cut-off marks for getting selected into an M.Tech. ECE Program in India, following are the marks .

  • General Category: 25.00 / 65.00
  • OBC: 22.50 / 65.00
  • SC/ST/PH: 16.60 / 65.00

Here we have put together for you the weightage of every topic in ECE
