GATE is an acronym for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering which is one of the most competitive and sought examinations in which over 9 lakh participants fight to form a part of the most capable engineers in the country. There are 2 universities in Singapore namely Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and National University of Singapore (NUS) which are both top Universities in Asia and hence require elite students with a 90% cut-off.
